State Highway 40 Construction 2026

The Wisconsin DOT will be doing construction on Hwy 40 in 2026 (the dates are still TBD). Those of you living along that route may have received a certified letter from the state about moving items in the right-of-way that might obstruct the construction. These items include flower boxes, landscaping, etc. The Village unfortunately does not have any authority in this matter. If you do not move the items in the right-of-way, the state will do so when they begin construction. If it is something you want to keep and relocate, please do so by the date listed in the letter.
